Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 1F website (1f.ai) and the 1F API (collectively, the "Service"), provided by 1F ("we", "us"). By creating an account or sending a request to the API, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You are responsible for the API key issued to your account. Treat it as a password — share it only with services you control. We are not responsible for charges incurred via a leaked key.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
• attempt to circumvent rate limits or plan caps;
• resell or redistribute API responses without a separate written agreement;
• use the Service to enable activities prohibited by US OFAC, EU sanctions, or other applicable sanctions regimes;
• scrape, mirror, or systematically download the website or API outside of documented endpoints.

3. Plans, billing, refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time from the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice via email to your account email; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

4. SLA & warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We target 99.5% monthly uptime on Pro and above, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on Free or Starter. Where law permits, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

5. Data & investigations

The Service surfaces public on-chain data plus our derived attribution layer. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of attribution. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, compliance, or investigative advice. Court-ready reports we render are signed evidence of the on-chain data observed at the time of generation; the legal weight of such reports depends on jurisdiction.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, abusive behavior, or non-payment. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it via the API or contacting support@1f.ai. On termination we will delete your account-level data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which 1F is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration except for claims that may be brought in small-claims court. You waive participation in any class action.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a banner on the website at least 14 days before they take effect.
